Terms of Use
Effective Date: July 20, 2026
Welcome to PPLCARD
PPLCARD provides an employee identity validation service that allows users to verify employee identity using unique codes (the “Service”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (https://pplcard.com/), the verification tool (including at /verify_otp/ or similar pages), and any related services.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updates. We encourage you to review them periodically.
1. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy which explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Electronic Communications
When you use the Service or send us emails, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically (e.g., via email, text, or through the Service). These communications satisfy any legal requirement that such notices be in writing.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, code, and compilations is owned by PPLCARD or its licensors and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. PPLCARD, its logos, and service names are trademarks of PPLCARD. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
4. Limited License and Site Access
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose: verifying employee identity via provided unique codes (as a verifier) or managing verification capabilities (as a client company/authorized user, if applicable).
This license does not include:
- Any resale, commercial exploitation, or derivative use of the Service or its content.
- Data mining, scraping, robots, or automated access beyond normal use.
- Copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works without express written permission.
- Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in ways that interfere with its operation.
Any unauthorized use automatically terminates this license. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
5. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
- Verifiers: You may enter unique codes provided by employees or companies. You agree not to misuse the Service (e.g., excessive or fraudulent queries, attempting to reverse-engineer verification logic).
- Client Companies/Employees (if you have accounts or submit data): You represent that you have all necessary rights and consents to provide employee information for verification purposes. You agree to keep your account information accurate and secure.
- You agree not to: post or transmit illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content; impersonate others; interfere with the Service; or engage in any activity that could harm our systems or reputation.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying logic of the verification system.
We may suspend or terminate your access for violations.
6. Verification Service Specifics
The Service provides instant confirmation based on codes associated with verified employees. Results are for informational purposes only. You are responsible for your own decisions based on verification outcomes. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party provided data or the absence of errors. PPLCARD is not a party to any employment or business relationship between verifiers and the companies/employees being verified.
7. Accounts (if applicable)
Certain features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
8. Payments and Fees (if applicable)
If you subscribe to any paid features (e.g., enterprise verification management), separate terms or agreements may apply. All payments are processed securely. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement). We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PPLCARD and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability shall not exceed amounts you paid us (if any) in the preceding 12 months. Certain jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some may not apply to you.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., internet outages, cyberattacks, or force majeure events).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PPLCARD harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your license ends, and you must cease all use.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through confidential binding arbitration in Phoenix, Arizona, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in Arizona courts for injunctive relief related to intellectual property. No class actions or joinder with other parties. Claims must be brought within one (1) year or be permanently barred.
13. Severability and Waiver
If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive it.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and PPLCARD regarding the Service.
